Majáles je za námi a za sebe si troufám říci, že se vydařil na jedničku. A to jak ten školní v pátek, tak následný hudební v sobotu. Právě tam jsem vzala také Teal, která byla z celé akce nadšená. Určitě nikomu z vás neuniklo ani to, že se v pátek zúčastnila i našeho Majálesu, zasedala dokonce v porotě. Jak na všechno vzpomíná a mají nějakou podobnou událost v Americe? Tak na to už nám odpověděla sama! :)
Have you got in America anything like Majáles?
We do not have anything like Majales in America, atleast where I am from. The public schools are very big and it is hard to do anything together as a whole school.
What do you think about a topic ,,Shakespeare''?
I love Shakespeare. I love the fact that I can travel half way around the world and still get to see his plays. I think it was a great topic for Majales.
You visited Majáles on Saturday, too. Have you known the music groups before?
I did not know any of the music groups. I really liked Fast Food Orchestra though, they were talented musicians and they were fun to dance to. I am also a big fan of rap and hip hop back in the US, so it was interesting to listen to Vladimir and what rap sounds like in a different language.
How did you enjoy this evening?
I had a great time. It was fun to attend a community even in Vimperk and it was fun to see my students outside of school and get to hang out with them!
What did you enjoy more? Majáles on Friday or on Saturday?
That is a hard question. I liked them both and I had a really great weekend. It meant a lot to me that 3A/7G asked me to participate, and I am really glad that I got to be a part of it.
